Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This policy explains what data Eutrapelia processes, why it is processed, what remains only on your device, and how you may exercise your rights regarding information linked to your account.
1. Data controller
Eutrapelia acts as the controller for the data needed to provide the platform and the functions linked to user accounts.
For privacy, access, correction, or deletion matters, you may contact: ademoya@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
If you use Google Sign-In, we process basic account data such as your email address and visible name to identify your profile.
We also process platform usage data related to progress, active novenas, language, font preferences, and push notification subscriptions if you enable them.
The examination of conscience in the Confession module remains only in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to our servers or synced to the cloud.
3. Legal basis for processing
The main legal basis for processing is your consent when creating an account, signing in, and enabling optional features such as reminders or push notifications.
When you choose not to create an account, Eutrapelia still works with limited local storage on your device.
4. User rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding the data linked to your account.
You may also withdraw consent for optional features, for example by disabling push notifications or signing out.
5. How to exercise your rights
To exercise your rights, write to ademoya@gmail.com from the email linked to your account or provide enough information to verify your identity.
We will respond within a reasonable period according to applicable law and the nature of the request.
6. International transfers
Account and sync data are handled through Supabase and related providers used in the project's technical infrastructure.
The project's current configuration involves international processing and storage, including infrastructure in the United States.
7. Data retention
We keep account and sync data while your account remains active or while it is needed to provide the service.
If you request deletion of your account or data, we will delete or anonymize the information that can reasonably be removed unless a legal obligation requires retention.
8. Cookies and local storage
Eutrapelia uses localStorage, first-party cookies, and browser storage to remember language, onboarding status, anonymous progress, visual preferences, and cookie consent.
These technologies help the platform work continuously between visits without blocking basic access to the app.
9. Children
Eutrapelia is not intended for children under 14 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided personal data without proper authorization, contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or pastoral changes in the platform.
When a change is significant, we will try to notify registered users inside the app or by email.
