Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
These terms explain the use of Eutrapelia, a Catholic platform for pastoral and formative support. By using it, you acknowledge its limits, its purpose, and the way information you enter is protected.
1. Nature of the platform
Eutrapelia offers concrete Catholic tools to accompany the life of faith: preparation for confession, growth in virtue, prayer, and other pastoral or formative modules.
The platform is a preparation, reflection, and support aid. It is not a sacrament, it does not give absolution, it does not replace spiritual direction, it does not replace psychological or medical support when needed, and it does not substitute the prudent judgment of a priest.
2. Confession and pastoral discernment
The Confession module is a guide for preparing for sacramental confession. It does not replace the Sacrament of Reconciliation or the encounter with the confessor.
For serious doubts of conscience, scrupulosity, religious anxiety, complex moral situations, or serious doctrinal questions, consult a stable priest or a competent person indicated by the Church.
3. Privacy and conscience data
Eutrapelia is designed so that progress and personal module state remain locally on your device through browser storage.
The platform must not send the private information you enter in your examination of conscience to external servers. It must not store your examination answers in the cloud. It must not keep remote logs of your examination of conscience.
If you use a shared device, another person with access to that device or browser may be able to see information saved locally. When finished, clear your session or use a personal and secure device.
4. Local storage and user responsibility
Some functions may use localStorage or other local browser mechanisms to keep language, profile, progress, marked answers, notes, or preferences on the same device.
Clearing browser data, using private browsing, changing devices, or deleting the session may cause that progress to be lost. Eutrapelia does not promise to recover data that existed only locally on your device.
5. Catholic content and limits
The content seeks to be faithful to the teaching of the Catholic Church and to rely on trustworthy Catholic sources. Even so, it may contain errors, omissions, imperfect formulations, or information that needs updating.
Do not use Eutrapelia as a definitive doctrinal source. For official teaching, consult the Catechism, documents of the Magisterium, authorized ecclesial sources, and the advice of competent pastors.
6. Proper use
Use the platform with freedom, serenity, and good faith. Do not use it to feed compulsions, to repeatedly re-check sins already confessed, to replace necessary conversations, or to make grave decisions without prudent counsel.
You may stop using any module at any time. If content causes persistent distress, pause its use and seek appropriate accompaniment.
7. Changes and growth of the project
Eutrapelia is a growing platform. Its modules, texts, routes, functions, languages, and conditions may be revised to improve clarity, safety, doctrinal fidelity, and pastoral usefulness.
